Jane Roper

Jane Roper is the author of a memoir, Double Time: How I Survived–and Mostly Thrived–Through the First Three Years of Mothering Twins, and a novel, Eden Lake. Her short stories, essays and humor have appeared in Salon, The Millions, Poets & Writers, The Rumpus, Cognoscenti, Post Road, Salt Hill, and elsewhere, including the anthology Labor Day: True Birth Stories by Today's Best Women Writers.

Jane survived getting her MFA in fiction at the Iowa Writers' Workshop, and lives in the Boston area with her husband and twin daughters. She also works as an advertising copywriter and brand strategist. When she's not writing, working, blogging, parenting, cooking, indoor climbing or procrastinating on social media, she can be found trying to read and promptly falling asleep.
