Author
Manuel Gonzales is the author of the collection, The Miniature Wife and other stories, for which he received the Sue Kaufman Prize for First Fiction, and the novel, The Regional Office is Under Attack!, for which he received an Alex Award from the YALSA. His work has been published by One Story Magazine, VQR, The Believer Magazine, Esquire, Oxford American, The New York Times, and Bon Appetit, among others. He has taught creative writing and literature at the University of Kentucky, the Institute of American Indian Arts, Tin House Summer Workshop, Queens University Latin American low-residency MFA, and currently teaches as a full-time literature faculty at Bennington College and for the Writing Seminars at Bennington. He currently lives in northwest Massachusetts with his wife and two children.
