Martha Rhodes is the author of five poetry collections, most recently The Thin Wall (Pitt Poetry Series, 2017). She teaches at the MFA Program for Writers at Warren Wilson College and at Sarah Lawrence College. She is a guest editor at Bread Loaf Writers Conference and the Colrain Manuscript Conference. She is the former director of the Frost Place Conference on Poetry and a regular faculty member at the Fine Arts Work Center in Provincetown. Rhodes ia a founding editor and the director of Four Way Books and over the past 27 years she has edited such authors as Reginald Dwayne Betts, C. Dale Young, Gregory Pardlo, Catherine Bowman, Kamila Aisha Moon, Daniel Tobin, Eileen Pollack, Liam Callanan and many others.

She was born and raised in the Boston area and currently lives in NYC.
